Vishnupatnim Shriyam Cha Devim Ashraye’ham Sharanam Vraje. I take refuge in the divine mother, the consort of Lord Vishnu, and the embodiment of all prosperity and beauty.
ह्रीं श्रीं लक्ष्मीभयो नमः॥
Hrim Shrim Lakshmibhayo Namaha. I offer my salutations to the goddess of wealth and prosperity.
त्वं महादेवि विष्णुपत्नि श्रीः श्रीर्वैष्णवी श्रीनिवासे श्रियः।
Tvam Mahadevi Vishnupatni Shrih Shri Vaishnavi Shrinivase Shriyah. You are the great goddess, the consort of Lord Vishnu, the embodiment of all prosperity, the Vaishnavi goddess, and the abode of all auspiciousness.
आपः प्रजास्तु श्रीरस्तु वयो ओषधयस्तु वनस्पतयः।
Apah Prajas Tu Shrir Astu Vayo Oshadhayas Tu Vanaspatayah. May the waters create in me the power of attraction and charm, may the mountains make my abode firm and stable, may the herbs and plants bestow their healing properties upon me.
श्रीः परं व्योमन् यः परमाणुर्यः परमेष्ठिन्। तस्माद्विराडजायत विराजो अधि पूरुषः।।
श्रीः परं व्योमन् यः परमाणुर्यः परमेष्ठिन्। तस्माद्विराडजायत विराजो अधि पूर्वः संज्ञः॥
Shrih Param Vyoman Yah Paramanuryah Parameshthin. Tasmaad Viradajaayata Virajo Adhi Poorvah Samjnah. From the supreme, divine sky emerged the supreme, atomic and all-pervading consciousness. From this came the creation of Virat, the cosmic being, along with the ancient knowledge.
स जातो अतिथिः सत्यस्य परमे शुभे लोके देवदेवस्य शरीरे।
Sa Jato Atithih Satyasya Parame Shubhe Loke Deva-Devasya Shareere. The cosmic being became the supreme guest in this auspicious world, taking on the form of the body of the divine Lord of all gods.
अमुं च विश्वं अधि जायमानो विराजमानो अभ्यतिष्ठत्।
Amum Cha Vishvam Adhi Jayamaano Virajamaano Abhyatishthat. He presides over this entire creation, manifesting as the Virat Purusha, the cosmic man.
त्वमेव स्तुत ते देवि श्रियः विश्वस्य हेतवे।
Tvameva Stuta Te Devi Shriyah Vishwasya Hetave. O Goddess, you are praised as the ultimate cause of the universe and the source of all prosperity.
श्रियं वासय मे कुले मातर्मातः प्रसूतिनः।
Shriyam Vaasaya Me Kule Maatarmatah Prasootinah. O Mother, bless my family and descendants with your grace and protection.
श्रियः प्रदेवि जुषस्व विश्वेष्टामयुगे श्रियम्।
Shriyah Pradevi Jushasva Vishweshtamayuge Shriyam. O Goddess, grant us prosperity in this age of Kali and bestow upon us all forms of wealth and abundance.
नमो देव्यै महादेव्यै शिवाय सततं नमः॥
Namo Devyai Mahadevyai Shivayai Satatam Namah. Salutations to the great goddess, the divine mother and the consort of Lord Shiva. I offer my salutations to you always.
