"I personally didn't witness any flying kiss incident: Hema Malini Ji. However, she has also added her support to that fabricated complaint," Srinivas shared on X, the platform formerly recognized as Twitter.

Karti Chidambaram, a Congress Member of Parliament, expressed, "Rahul Gandhi raised pointed questions regarding the government's inaction and mishandling in Manipur. Yet, the government seems to be avoiding addressing those specific concerns. This tactic is quite familiar when it comes to the BJP's approach. Whenever we bring up critical issues, they tend to divert the conversation by referring to historical events or discussing unrelated matters."

The BJP's female MPs have formally lodged a complaint with the Speaker concerning the alleged 'flying kiss' incident involving the Member of Parliament from Wayanad in the Lok Sabha.

"We were disapproving of the flying kiss gesture made by Rahul Gandhi as he was leaving, as it contradicts our cultural norms. We have zero tolerance for such conduct within the Parliament," Union Minister Darshana Jardosh, one of the complainants, conveyed to PTI.

On Wednesday, BJP MP Hema Malini stated to India Today that she did not witness Rahul Gandhi blowing a flying kiss within the Parliament. This statement came shortly after her party filed a complaint, listing her as one of the signatories, in which they accused the Congress leader of displaying "indecent behavior."

Hema Malini's response swiftly gained attention on Twitter, where it became a trending viral video of the day. Simultaneously, the BJP launched a forceful criticism against Rahul Gandhi, asserting that the "inappropriate gesture" was directed towards Union Minister and BJP MP Smriti Irani in the Lok Sabha.

When asked if she had observed Rahul Gandhi's alleged flying kiss, which was deemed as inappropriate, Hema Malini remarked, "I did not witness that, but there were some remarks made that were not very appropriate."

Following this, Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shobha Karandlaje, along with other female members of the party, took immediate action. On Wednesday, they officially lodged a complaint with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, accusing Rahul Gandhi of displaying 'indecent' behavior and making 'inappropriate' gestures towards Union Minister Smriti Irani during the session.

Shobha Karandlaje, leading the initiative, presented a letter endorsed by 21 women BJP members to the Speaker's chamber. The letter strongly urged for strict measures to be taken against Rahul Gandhi for his alleged conduct. It's notable that Hema Malini was also a part of this delegation that approached the Speaker in this matter.
