श्री शिवरक्षा स्तोत्रम् Shiv Raksha Stotram
। ॐ नमः शिवाय ।
अस्य श्रीशिवरक्षा-स्तोत्र-मन्त्रस्य याज्ञवल्क्य ऋषिः,
श्रीसदाशिवो देवता, अनुष्टुप् छन्दः,
श्रीसदाशिव-प्रीत्यर्थे शिवरक्षा-स्तोत्र-जपे विनियोगः ॥
चरितं देवदेवस्य महादेवस्य पावनम् ।
अपारं परमोदारं चतुर्वर्गस्य साधनम् ॥ (१)
गौरी-विनायकोपेतं पञ्चवक्त्रं त्रिनेत्रकम् ।
शिवं ध्यात्वा दशभुजं शिवरक्षां पठेन्नरः ॥ (२)
गङ्गाधरः शिरः पातु भालमर्द्धेन्दु-शेखरः ।
नयने मदन-ध्वंसी कर्णौ सर्प-विभूषणः ॥ (३)
घ्राणं पातु पुराराति-र्मुखं पातु जगत्पतिः ।
जिह्वां वागीश्वरः पातु कन्धरां शिति-कन्धरः ॥ (४)
श्रीकण्ठः पातु मे कण्ठं स्कन्धौ विश्व-धुरन्धरः ।
भुजौ भूभार-संहर्त्ता करौ पातु पिनाकधृक् ॥ (५)
हृदयं शङ्करः पातु जठरं गिरिजापतिः ।
नाभिं मृत्युञ्जयः पातु कटी व्याघ्रजिनाम्बरः ॥ (६)
सक्थिनी पातु दीनार्त्त-शरणागत-वत्सलः ।
ऊरू महेश्वरः पातु जानुनी जगदीश्वरः ॥ (७)
जङ्घे पातु जगत्कर्त्ता गुल्फौ पातु गणाधिपः ।
चरणौ करुणासिन्धुः सर्वाङ्गानि सदाशिवः ॥ (८)
एतां शिव-बलोपेतां रक्षां यः सुकृती पठेत् ।
स भुक्त्वा सकलान् कामान् शिव-सायुज्यमाप्नुयात् ॥ (९)
ग्रह-भूत-पिशाचाद्यास्त्रैलोक्ये विचरन्ति ये ।
दूरादाशु पलायन्ते शिव-नामाभिरक्षणात् ॥ (१०)
अभयङ्कर-नामेदं कवचं पार्वतीपतेः ।
भक्त्या बिभर्त्ति यः कण्ठे तस्य वश्यं जगत् त्रयम् ॥ (११)
इमां नारायणः स्वप्ने शिवरक्षां यथादिशत् ।
प्रातरुत्थाय योगीन्द्रो याज्ञवल्क्यस्तथालिखत् ॥ (१२)
(इति श्रीयाज्ञवल्क्य-प्रोक्तं शिवरक्षा-स्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ।)

Naabhim Mrityunjayah Paatu, Kati Vyaghrajinambarah ॥ (6)
(May Shankara protect my heart, the Lord of Girija protect my stomach, Mrityunjaya protect my navel, and the one wearing the tiger skin protect my waist.)

(The power of Shiva's name drives away all evil forces—planets, spirits, or ghosts that roam the three worlds.)
Abhayankar-Namedam Kavacham Parvatipateh,
Bhaktya Bibharti Yah Kante, Tasya Vashyam Jagat Trayam ॥ (11)
(This protective shield of Lord Parvatipati, worn with devotion around the neck, brings the three worlds under one’s control.)
Imam Narayanah Svapne Shiva Raksham Yathadishat,
Pratarutthaya Yogindro Yajnavalkyah Tathalikhat ॥ (12)
(This Shiva Raksha was revealed by Narayana in a dream, and Yajnavalkya, the great sage, recorded it in the morning.)
