आज्ञा भई अकाल की, तबे चलायो पंथ : उस अकाल (जो काल / समय, जन्म मरण से परे है, सर्वोच्च है (ईश्वर) की आज्ञा होने पर "सिख" पंथ चलाया गया। आशय है की "अकाल" (जो समय से परे है, सर्वेश्वर की आज्ञा के उपरान्त सिख पंथ की स्थापना हुई, चलाया गया। सिख पंथ दिव्य और अलौकिक है क्योंकि इसे ईश्वर की आज्ञा से स्थापित किया गया है।

The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the sacred religious text and eleventh Guru
