श्री राम सोउमिथ्री जटायु वेद,
शदनदिथ्य कुजर्चिथ्य,
श्री नीलकन्दाय दया मायया,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नमसिवाय.

गङ्गा प्रवहेण्डु जड धारय,
त्रिलोचनाय स्मर कला हन्थ्रे,
संस्था देवैरपि पूजिथाय,
श्री वैद्यनत्ता नमसिवाय.

भक्था प्रियाय, त्रिपुरन्थकाय,
पिनाकिने दुष्ट हराय नित्यं,
प्रथ्यक्ष लीलया मनुष्य लोके,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नमसिवाय.

प्रभूथ वदधि समास्थ रोग,
प्राणस कर्थ्रे मुनि वन्ध्थिथाय,
प्रभकरेन्न्द् वग्नि विलोचनाय,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नाम सिवाय.

वक्च्रोथ्र नेथ्रन्गिरि विहीन जनथो,
वक्च्रोथ्र नेथ्रन्गिरि सुख प्रदाय,
कुष्टधि सर्वोन्नाथ रोग हन्थ्रे,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नाम सिवाय.

वेदन्थ वेध्याय जगन मायया,
य़ोगिस्वर ध्येय पदंबुजय,
त्रिमुर्थ्य रूपाय सहस्र नाम्ने,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नाम सिवाय.

श्र्वथीर्थ मृद्बस्मा ब्रुदङ्ग बाजं,
पिसाच दुख आर्थि भयपःया,
अथम स्वरूपय सरीर बजां,
श्री वैद्यनाथाय नमसिवाय.

श्री नीलकन्दाय वृषब द्वजय,
सरक्कन्द बस्मध्य अभि शोबिथाय,
सुपुथ्रदरथि सुबग्यथाय,
श्री वैद्यनथाय नाम सिवाय.

बलंबिकेस वैद्येस बव रोग हरेदिस,
जपेन नाम त्रयं नित्यं महा रोग निवारणं.

Vaidhyanatha Ashtakam
1. శ్రీ రామ సౌమిత్రి జటాయు వేద,
శాదనదిత్య కుజర్చిత్య,
శ్రీ నీలకందయ దయ మయ్య,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమసివాయ.

2. గంగ ప్రవహెండు జడ దరయ,
త్రిలోచనాయ సమర కల హంత్రే,
సంస్థ దేవైరపి పూజితయ,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతట నమసివాయ.

3. భక్త ప్రియాయ, త్రిపురాంతకాయ,
పినకినే దుష్ట హర్యా నిత్యం,
ప్రత్యక్ష లీలయ మనుష్య లోకే,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమసివాయ.

4. ప్రభూత వాడది సమస్త రోగ,
ప్రనస కర్త్రే ముని వంద్తితాయ,
ప్రభాకరెంన్ద్ వాగ్ని విలోచనయ,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమ శివాయ.

5. వాక్చ్రోత్ర నేత్రంగిరి విహీన జనతో,
వాక్చ్రోత్ర నేత్రంగిరి సుఖ ప్రదాయ,
కుష్టది సర్వోన్నత రోగ హంత్రే,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమ శివాయ.

6. వేదాంత వేద్యాయ జగన్ మయ్య,
యోగిస్వర ధ్యేయ పడంబుజయ,
త్రిమూర్తి రూపాయ సహస్ర నామ్నే,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమ శివాయ.

7. స్వతీర్త మ్రుద్బస్మ బృదంగా బజం,
పిసాచ దుఃఖ ఆర్తి భయాపహాయ,
ఆత్మ స్వరూపాయ శరీర బజాం,
శ్రీ వైద్యనాతాయ నమసివాయ.

8. శ్రీ నీలకందయ వ్రుశాబా ద్వాజయ,
సరక్కండ బస్మధ్య అభి శోబితయ,
సుపుత్రదరతి సుబగ్యతాయ,
శ్రీ వైద్యనతాయ నమ శివాయ.

9. బలంబికేస వైదఎస బావ రోగ హరేదిస,
జపెన్ నమ త్రయం నిత్యం మహా రోగ నివారణం.

Sree rama soumithri jatayu veda,
Shadanadithya kujarchithya,
Sree neelakandaya daya mayaya,

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who is adored by Sri Rama, Laksamana, Jatayu, Veda, Kartikeya, Sun and Mars , -- Who has a blue-throat, and Who is full of benevolence.||1||

Ganga pravahendu jada dharaya,
Trilochanaya smara kala hanthre,
Samstha devairapi poojithaya,
Sree vaidyanathata namasivaya. .||2||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who beholds the flow of Ganga and the Moon in His tress-locks, Who has three eyes (Trilocana), Who destroys both Kala (time) and Smara (Kamadeva), and Who is gloriously adored by all the demi-gods.||2||

Bhaktha priyaya, tripuranthakaya,
Pinakine dushta haraya nithyam,
Prathyaksha leelaya manushya loke,
Sree vaidyanathaya namasivaya. .||3||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who is dear to the devotees, Who destroyed the demon known as Tripurasura, Who beholds the bow called Pinaka, Who always defeats the evil and cunning, and Whose sportive plays manifest after the world is formed.||3||

Prabhootha vadadhi samastha roga,
Pranasa karthre muni vandhthithaya,
Prabhakarennd wagni vilochanaya,
Sri vaidyanathaya nama sivaya. .||4||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who destroys all the diseases related to living beings and their morbid affection of the wind (diseases like rheumatism, gout, flatulence, etc.), Who is extolled by sages, and Who has the Sun, the Moon and the Fire as His three eyes.||4||

Vakchrothra nethrangiri viheena jantho,
Vakchrothra nethrangiri sukha pradaya,
Kushtadhi sarvonnatha roga hanthre,
Sri Vaidyanathaya nama sivaya. .||5||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who provides the bliss of having voice, ears, eyes, and legs to those living beings who are devoid of voice, ears, eyes and legs, respectively, and Who finishes the increasing diseases like leprosy.||5||

Vedantha vedhyaya jagan mayaya,
Yogiswara dhyeya Padambujaya,
Trimurthy roopaya sahasra namne,
Sri vaidyanathaya nama sivaya. .||6||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who is understood by the study of Vedanta (Upanisat), Who is all pervading and has manifested as the world, Whose lotus feet are meditated upon by the Lord of Yogis (Krishna), Who has manifested as the Trinity of Visnu, Brahma and Siva, and Who has thousands of names.||6||

Swatheertha mrudbasma brudanga bajam,
Pisacha dukha arthi bhayapahaya,
Athma swaroopaya sareera bajaam,
Sri Vaidyanaathaya namasivaya. .||7||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who destroys the fear, grief, pain and ghostly fears of those associated with the ashes of the cremation of those bodies which got dead in His shrine, and Who is the soul or atman-form for the living beings.||7||

Sree neelakandaya vrushaba dwajaya,
Sarakkanda basmadhya abhi shobithaya,
Suputhradarathi subagyathaya,
Sri vaidyanathaya nama sivaya. .||8||

Salutations to Siva, Who is known as Vaidyanatha, Who has a blue throat, Who has a flag depicting a bull, Who is exceptionally adorned by the fragrance of water-flowers and ashes, and Who bestows the good fate of a good wife and son.||8||
