Kanakdhara Stotram Meaning Lyrics श्री कनकधारा स्तोत्रम लिरिक्स (स्वर्णधारा स्तोत्र)

Meditation and prayer is an essential part of the Indian culture, and one of the many prayers offered is called Kanakdhara Stotram which is in praise of Goddess Lakshmi the Hindu goddess of wealth. This prayer is mainly dedicated to the goddess and is said to be composed by the great sage of India namely, Adi Sankaracharya.

As for the name of the place the word “Kanakdhara” translates to “a stream of gold” from the Sanskrit language. This hymn tells the story of a poor woman with no food for a saint that paid her a visit despite her being in a very shameful position. Pained by the plight, the saint began to write and recite Kanakadhara Stotra which made gold to pour in the house of that poor woman thereby liberating her from the clutches of poverty.
