Kushmanda Mata : Kushmanda Mata is one of the nine forms of the Hindu goddess Durga. The name "Kushmanda" is derived from the words "Ku" meaning a little, "Ushma" meaning warmth or energy, and "Anda" meaning cosmic egg. She is believed to have created the universe with her divine smile, and is associated with the energy and warmth of the sun.

In Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Vishnu was in a state of deep sleep in the cosmic ocean, and a lotus flower emerged from his navel. Inside the lotus flower was Goddess Kushmanda, who created the universe with her smile.

Kushmanda Mata is depicted with eight arms, holding a kamandalu (water pot), a dhanush (bow), an arrow, a lotus, a mala (rosary), a chakra (discus), a gada (mace), and a sword. She is often shown seated on a lion or a tiger.

She is worshipped on the fourth day of the Navratri festival, which falls on the Shukla Chaturthi in the Hindu month of Ashwin (September-October). It is believed that worshipping her grants strength, health, and wealth, and removes all obstacles in life.
