श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन,हरण भवभय दारुणं,

श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन - I worship Lord Rama, who is compassionate and merciful,
हरण भवभय दारुणं - Who dispels all fears and sorrows,
नव कंज लोचन कंज मुख - Whose eyes are like lotus petals and whose face is as beautiful as a lotus,
कर कंज पद कंजारुणं - Whose hands are like lotus petals and whose feet are as soft as lotus petals.
कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि - Whose form is incomparable and surpasses the beauty of Kamadeva (the god of love),
नव नील नीरद सुन्दरं - Whose complexion is like a fresh rain-bearing cloud of blue color,
पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि - Whose radiance is more dazzling than gold and purifies the mind,
नोमि जनक सुतावरं - I bow to Lord Rama, the beloved son of King Janaka, who is adorned with royal splendor.
भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव - Worship Lord Rama, the friend of the poor and the vanquisher of demons,
दैत्य वंश निकन्दनं - Who destroyed the lineage of demons,
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कोशल - Who is the joy of the Raghu dynasty and the treasure of happiness,
चन्द दशरथ नन्दनं - Who is the moon-like son of King Dasharatha.
शिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक - Whose forehead is adorned with a crown, earrings, and a tilak (mark),
चारु उदारु अङ्ग विभूषणं - Whose beautiful and generous form is adorned with various ornaments,
आजानु भुज शर चाप धर - Who holds a bow and arrows in His long and graceful arms,
संग्राम जित खरदूषणं - Who defeated and vanquished the wicked Khara and Dushana in battle.
