Maya Mui Na Man Mua, Mari Mari Gaya Sarir,
Aasa Trishna Na Mui, Yo Kahi Gaya Kabir.
माया मुई : माया नहीं मरी, माया का अस्तित्व समाप्त नहीं हुआ.
न मन मुवा : नाहीं मर ही मरा है, इच्छा नहीं मरी है.
मरि मरि गया सरीर : यह शरीर मर जाता है. एक रोज देह से प्राण निकल जाते हैं.
आसा त्रिस्नाँ : आशा और तृष्णा, कामना, लालसा.
ना मुई : नहीं मरा है.
यों कहि गया कबीर : ऐसा कबीर साहेब कहते हैं.
न मन मुवा : नाहीं मर ही मरा है, इच्छा नहीं मरी है.
मरि मरि गया सरीर : यह शरीर मर जाता है. एक रोज देह से प्राण निकल जाते हैं.
आसा त्रिस्नाँ : आशा और तृष्णा, कामना, लालसा.

यों कहि गया कबीर : ऐसा कबीर साहेब कहते हैं.
कबीर साहेब की वाणी है की माया का कभी अंत नहीं होता है, माया सदा ही बनी रहती है. यह मानव देह ही नश्वर है जो पैदा होती है और समाप्त हो जाती है. माया सदा ही बनी रहती है और वह नए नए शिकार ढूंढती रहती है. ऐसे ही आशा और तृष्णा कभी समाप्त नहीं होती हैं, यही कबीर साहेब का सन्देश है.
अतः कबीर साहेब इस साखी के माध्यम से जीवात्मा को सन्देश देते हैं की वह माया के भ्रम को समझे और इसके फांस से दूर रहकर हरी के नाम का सुमिरण करे. निश्चित ही हरी के नाम का सुमिरण ही एकमात्र उद्देश्य है इस जीवन का और मुक्ति का आधार भी यही है. यदि जीवात्मा आशा तृष्णा से दूर नहीं रहता है तो वह जन्म मरण के चक्र में ही उलझा रहता है और बार बार जन्म लेता है. अतः माया का पीछा छोडकर सद्मार्ग पर चलते हुए हरी के नाम का सुमिरण ही मुक्ति का आधार है.

If the soul does not stay away from the desire for hope, then it remains entangled in the cycle of birth and death and takes birth again and again. Therefore, leaving the pursuit of Maya and walking on the Bhakti Marga, chanting the name of Hari is the basis of Freedom.
