श्रीफल, शफलजल को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में quince (क़ुइंस) कहते हैं. श्रीफल, शफलजल हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है।

श्रीफल एक फल का नाम है। Quince फल अल्सर में बहुत लाभकारी होता है। इसके अतिरिक्त श्रीफल या शफरफल में रोगप्रतिधक क्षमता को विकसित करने के गुण होते हैं। श्रीफल या शफरफल सूजन-रोधी भी होता है। इस फल को बिही कहा जाता है। बिही के हैं बहुत चमत्कारिक लाभ भी होते हैं। बिही का वानस्पतिक नाम : Cydonia oblonga Mill. (साइडोनिया ऑब्लौंगा) है और यह कुल : Rosaceae (रोजेसी) से संबधित है। इस फल को इंग्लिश में अंग्रेज़ी नाम : Quince (क्विन्स) कहते हैं।

Quince (Cydonia oblonga) is an ancient fruit native to various parts of Asia and the Mediterranean.

Quince is a fruit that resembles, to an extent an apple or a pear. It is usually yellow when ripe and its outer skin is very hard and granular and therefore cannot be eaten raw. But, it has a nice flavor when it is cooked and has a really soft texture plus a great smell. It is usually employed in the preparation of jams, jellies and other forms of preserve, in baking and in salads. As for cultures, quince is valued for its taste which cannot be described as ordinary and possibilities of preparation.
