Siddha Kunjika Stotram is one of the powerful hymns devoted to Goddess Durga and is considered as part of Durga Saptashati or Devi Mahatmya. It is also known as the Devi Mahatmya and belongs to the Shaktism one of the most important schools of Hinduism.

Siddha Kunjika Stotram is opined as a secret hymn and potent and it is said that this hymn represents the whole of Devi Mahatmyam in its spiritually energetic power. Some people think that if one repeats this stotra with devotion and faith he or she shall be free from all calamities and all evils shall be rendered ineffective and one can succeed, be happy and be in peace.

॥ सिद्धकुञ्जिकास्तोत्रम् ॥
शिव उवाच
शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि, कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रमुत्तमम्।
येन मन्त्रप्रभावेण चण्डीजापः शुभो भवेत॥1॥
न कवचं नार्गलास्तोत्रं कीलकं न रहस्यकम्।
न सूक्तं नापि ध्यानं च न न्यासो न च वार्चनम्॥2॥
कुञ्जिकापाठमात्रेण दुर्गापाठफलं लभेत्।
अति गुह्यतरं देवि देवानामपि दुर्लभम्॥3॥
गोपनीयं प्रयत्‍‌नेनस्वयोनिरिव पार्वति।
मारणं मोहनं वश्यंस्तम्भनोच्चाटनादिकम्।
पाठमात्रेण संसिद्ध्येत्कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रमुत्तमम्॥4॥

ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लींचामुण्डायै विच्चे॥
ॐ ग्लौं हुं क्लीं जूं सः ज्वालयज्वालय ज्वल ज्वल प्रज्वल प्रज्वल
ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे ज्वलहं सं लं क्षं फट् स्वाहा॥
॥ इति मन्त्रः ॥
नमस्ते रूद्ररूपिण्यै नमस्ते मधुमर्दिनि।
नमः कैटभहारिण्यै नमस्ते महिषार्दिनि॥1॥
नमस्ते शुम्भहन्त्र्यै च निशुम्भासुरघातिनि।
जाग्रतं हि महादेवि जपं सिद्धं कुरूष्व मे॥2॥
ऐंकारी सृष्टिरूपायै ह्रींकारी प्रतिपालिका।
क्लींकारी कामरूपिण्यै बीजरूपे नमोऽस्तु ते॥3॥
चामुण्डा चण्डघाती च यैकारी वरदायिनी।
विच्चे चाभयदा नित्यं नमस्ते मन्त्ररूपिणि॥4॥
धां धीं धूं धूर्जटेः पत्‍‌नी वां वीं वूं वागधीश्‍वरी।
क्रां क्रीं क्रूं कालिका देवि शां शीं शूं मे शुभं कुरु॥5॥
हुं हुं हुंकाररूपिण्यै जं जं जं जम्भनादिनी।
भ्रां भ्रीं भ्रूं भैरवी भद्रे भवान्यै ते नमो नमः॥6॥
अं कं चं टं तं पं यं शं वीं दुं ऐं वीं हं क्षं।
धिजाग्रं धिजाग्रं त्रोटय त्रोटय दीप्तं कुरु कुरु स्वाहा॥7॥
पां पीं पूं पार्वती पूर्णा खां खीं खूं खेचरी तथा।
सां सीं सूं सप्तशती देव्या मन्त्रसिद्धिं कुरुष्व मे॥8॥
इदं तु कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रंमन्त्रजागर्तिहेतवे।
अभक्ते नैव दातव्यंगोपितं रक्ष पार्वति॥
यस्तु कुञ्जिकाया देविहीनां सप्तशतीं पठेत्।
न तस्य जायतेसिद्धिररण्ये रोदनं यथा॥
॥ इति श्रीरुद्रयामले गौरीतन्त्रे शिवपार्वतीसंवादे कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ॥

Meaning :
शिव उवाच - Shiva said:
शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि, कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रमुत्तमम्। - Listen, O Devi, I shall speak of the most excellent Kunjika Stotram.
येन मन्त्रप्रभावेण चण्डीजापः शुभो भवेत॥1॥ - By the power of the mantras of this stotra, the recitation of Chandi becomes auspicious.
न कवचं नार्गलास्तोत्रं कीलकं न रहस्यकम्। - There is no need for kavachas, coconut stotras, kiḷakas or secret nyasas.
न सूक्तं नापि ध्यानं च न न्यासो न च वार्चनम्॥2॥ - Neither sukta nor dhyana, nor nyasa or varchanam are needed.
कुञ्जिकापाठमात्रेण दुर्गापाठफलं लभेत्। - Merely by reciting Kunjika Stotram, one attains the fruit of reciting Durga Patha.
अति गुह्यतरं देवि देवानामपि दुर्लभम्॥3॥ - O Devi, it is exceedingly secret and difficult to obtain even by the gods.
गोपनीयं प्रयत्‍‌नेन स्वयोनिरिव पार्वति। - It is as secret as one's own self, O Parvati.
मारणं मोहनं वश्यं स्तम्भनोच्चाटनादिकम्। - It can cause death, attraction, control, immobilization and other effects.
पाठमात्रेण संसिद्ध्येत् कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रमुत्तमम्॥4॥ - Merely by reciting it, the most excellent Kunjika Stotram becomes perfected.
ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे॥
Meaning: This mantra is used to invoke and worship Goddess Chamunda, who is believed to be a fierce form of Goddess Durga.
ॐ ग्लौं हुं क्लीं जूं सः ज्वालयज्वालय ज्वल ज्वल प्रज्वल प्रज्वल
ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे ज्वलहं सं लं क्षं फट् स्वाहा॥

Meaning: This mantra is also addressed to Goddess Chamunda and is believed to have the power to destroy negative energy and obstacles in one's path. It is a combination of various sounds that are believed to activate the chakras and awaken the spiritual energy within.

ऐंकारी सृष्टिरूपायै (Aimkari Srishti Roopayai) - Salutations to the one who is the form of creation and contains the sound 'aim'

क्लींकारी कामरूपिण्यै (Kleemkari Kama Roopinyai)
- Salutations to the one who is in the form of desire and contains the sound 'kleem'

O Chamunda, who strikes terror and who is the giver of blessings with the sound of "Ya,"

विच्चे चाभयदा नित्यं नमस्ते मन्त्ररूपिणि॥4॥
Vichche chaabhayadaa nityam namaste mantraroopini
You who are always the form of the mantra and who provide protection and fearlessness, I bow to you.

धां धीं धूं धूर्जटेः पत्‍‌नी वां वीं वूं वागधीश्‍वरी।
Dhaam dheem dhoom dhurjateh patni vaam veem voom vaagadheeshwari
You who are the wife of Lord Shiva, who is invoked through the sounds "Dha," "Dhe," "Dho," and "Dhu," and who is also known as the goddess of speech with the sounds "Va," "Ve," "Vo," and "Vam,"

क्रां क्रीं क्रूं कालिका देवि शां शीं शूं मे शुभं कुरु॥5॥
Kraam kreem kroom kaalika devi shaam sheem shoom me shubham kuru
Please make my auspiciousness arise through the sounds "Kra," "Kre," "Kro," and "Krum," O goddess Kali, and also with the sounds "Sha," "She," and "Shu."

हुं हुं हुंकाररूपिण्यै जं जं जं जम्भनादिनी।
Hum hum humkaararoopinyai jam jam jam jambhanaadini
You who are embodied in the sound "Hum," and who are also known as Jambhanadini with the sounds "Jam," please bestow your grace upon me.

भ्रां भ्रीं भ्रूं भैरवी भद्रे भवान्यै ते नमो नमः॥6॥
Bhraam bhreem bhroom bhairavi bhadre bhavanyai te namo namah
O goddess Bhairavi, who is invoked through the sounds "Bhra," "Bhre," and "Bhroom," and who is the auspicious one, I offer my salutations to you again and again.
 
अं कं चं टं तं पं यं शं वीं दुं ऐं वीं हं क्षं।
These are nine bija mantras, which are seed syllables representing different aspects of the divine energy.

धिजाग्रं धिजाग्रं त्रोटय त्रोटय दीप्तं कुरु कुरु स्वाहा॥7॥
This verse is a prayer to the goddess asking for her protection and blessings. The words "Dhijagran Dhijagran" and "Trotay Trotay" are said to represent the sound of the goddess's vehicle and weapon respectively.

पां पीं पूं पार्वती पूर्णा खां खीं खूं खेचरी तथा।
This verse contains nine beej mantras associated with the nine forms of the goddess Parvati.

सां सीं सूं सप्तशती देव्या मन्त्रसिद्धिं कुरुष्व मे॥8॥
This verse is a prayer requesting the goddess to bless the devotee with the power and efficacy of the 700 mantras of the Devi Mahatmyam.

इदं तु कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रंमन्त्रजागर्तिहेतवे।
This line indicates that the following text is the "Kunjika Stotram", which is recited to awaken the power of the mantras.

अभक्ते नैव दातव्यंगोपितं रक्ष पार्वति॥
This verse warns that the Kunjika Stotram should not be given to those who are not devoted to the goddess, and that it should be kept secret.

यस्तु कुञ्जिकाया देविहीनां सप्तशतीं पठेत्।
This line states that those who recite the 700 mantras of the Devi Mahatmyam without the Kunjika Stotram will not attain siddhi, or the power and efficacy of the mantras.

न तस्य जायतेसिद्धिररण्ये रोदनं यथा॥

This verse explains that without the power of the mantras, one will not attain siddhi even with great effort, just as crying in the wilderness is useless.

॥ इति श्रीरुद्रयामले गौरीतन्त्रे शिवपार्वतीसंवादे कुञ्जिकास्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ॥

This line indicates the end of the Kunjika Stotram and identifies the text as a conversation between Lord Shiva and Parvati from the Rudrayam

Beeja stotra is made of nine Beeja or Seed Mantras, nine forms of Goddess Durga. It also contains the mantra of Navarna Mantra or Chandi Mantra which is regarded as one of the most powerful mantra to worship Goddess Durga.

Siddha Kunjika Stotram is mostly recited during the Navaratri Festival which is a fesrtival dedicated to the Goddes Durga and at other auspicious occasions like Weddings, house warming ceremony etc.
Siddhakunjika Stotram is a potent hymn and sweary for the benevolent Goddess Durga. It is regarded as very powerful mantra and it is recited by the people during Navratri and other religious functions.

Literally it has two parts – where Siddha refers to one who has achieved spiritual perfection and kunjika a pointer to the key that unlocks it. Stotram is sung in Sanskrit language and it is having 27 slokas. As per the mythology, the mantra was heard by Lord Shiva while Sage Shukracharya got it from Lord Shiva and he taught it to the King Suratha.

But, the Siddhakunjika Stotram is mainly sung or recited in order to obtain the divine protection of Goddess Durga. It is widely believed to clear all the hurdles, pave way for success and prosperity besides rendering spiritual growth to the devotee. The Stotram also speaks about the various forms of the Goddess and the form related attributes.

The recital Siddhakunjika Stotram is said to be one powerful and very favorable.
