श्री रघुवीर भक्त हितकारी - O Lord Raghuvir, the benefactor of devotees.
सुन लीजै प्रभु अरज हमारी - Please listen to our request, O Lord.
निशिदिन ध्यान धरे जो कोई - Whoever meditates on you day and night,
त सम भक्त और नहिं होई - There is no other devotee like them.
ध्यान धरे शिवजी मन माहीं - Those who meditate on you, Lord Shiva, in their hearts,

दूत तुम्हार वीर हनुमाना - Your messenger, the valiant Hanuman,

तिनको प्रथम पूज्य तुम कीनो - Acknowledging you as the foremost deity to be worshipped.

जहां जन्म हरि भक्त कहाई - Where he/she is recognized as a devotee of Lord Rama.
श्री हरिदास कहै अरु गावे - Sri Haridas says and sings,
सो बैकुण्ठ धाम को पावे - That person attains the divine abode of Lord Vishnu (referring to Vaikuntha, the celestial abode of Lord Vishnu).
दोहा
सात दिवस जो नेम कर - Whosoever observes a fast for seven days,
पाठ करे चित लाय - Recites this prayer with a focused mind,
हरिदास हरि कृपा से - By the grace of Lord Hari (Lord Rama),
अवसि भक्ति को पाय - Attains true devotion.
राम चालीसा जो पढ़े - Whosoever recites the forty verses (chalisa) in praise of Lord Rama,
राम चरण चित लाय - And meditates on the lotus feet of Lord Rama with a focused mind,
जो इच्छा मन में करै - Whatever desires one holds in their heart,
सकल सिद्घ हो जाय - All those desires are fulfilled.
