प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यं आयुःकामार्थसिद्धये ॥ १॥
प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ॥ २॥
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ॥ ३॥
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ॥ ४॥
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरः प्रभुः ॥ ५॥
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां, धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥ ६॥
जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ७॥
अष्टेभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत् ।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः ॥ ८॥
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यं आयुःकामार्थसिद्धये ॥ १॥

The verses explain the various forms of Lord Ganesha and their significance. The first verse is a prayer to Lord Ganesha and says that by constantly remembering him, one can attain longevity, desire and wealth.
The following verses describe the different forms of Lord Ganesha that are worshipped. Lord Ganesha is known by many names and is worshipped in various forms in Hinduism. These forms include Vakratunda (curved trunk), Ekadanta (one tusk), Krishnapingaksha (black-eyed), Gajavaktra (elephant-faced), Lambodara (big-bellied), Vikata (unusual form), Vighnaraja (lord of obstacles), Dhoomravarna (smoke-colored), Bhalachandra (moon on the forehead), and Gajanana (elephant-faced).
It is believed that by reciting these names of Lord Ganesha during the three sandhyas (morning, noon and evening) one can overcome obstacles and achieve success in their endeavors. Reciting the Ganesha Stotram for six months brings great benefits, and reciting it for a year brings one's desires to fruition.
It is also said that by writing these names of Lord Ganesha and offering them to brahmins, one can attain all knowledge through his blessings. Overall, Lord Ganesha is considered the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of good fortune, and his worship is an important part of Hinduism.

Shri Ganesh Sankatnashan Stotra Meaning:

श्री गणेश संकटनाशन स्तोत्र
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यं आयुःकामार्थसिद्धये ॥१॥

With head bowed, let me unceasingly worship in my mind the god Vinayaka, the son of Gauri, the refuge of his devotees, for the complete attainment of longevity, amorous desires and wealth.
प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ॥२॥
First, as the one with the twisted trunk. Second, as the one with the single tusk. Third, as the one with the fawn colored eyes. Fourth, as the one with the elephants mouth,
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजम् च धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ॥३॥

Fifth, as the pot-bellied one, Sixth, as the monstrous one, Seventh, as the king of obstacles, Eighth, as the smoke colored one.
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ॥४॥

Ninth, as the moon crested one, Tenth, as the remover of hindrances, Eleventh, as the Lord of the hordes, Twelfth, as the one with the elephants face.
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं प्रभुः ॥५॥

Whosoever repeats these twelve names at dawn, noon and sunset, for him there is no fear of failure, nay, there is constant good fortune.
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥६॥

He who desires knowledge obtains knowledge. He who desires sons gets sons. He who desires salvation obtains the way.
जपेद्वगणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासै: फलं लभेत्।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥७॥

Whosoever mutters the hymn to Ganapati reaches his aim in six months, and in a year reaches perfection, on this point there is no doubt.
अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा य: समर्पयेत।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः ॥८॥

Whosoever makes eight copies of it, and has them distributed to as many brahmans, he reaches knowledge instantaneously, by the grace of Ganesh.
ॐ गं गणपतये नमः ॥
श्री सिद्धिविनायक नमो नमः ॥
अष्टविनायक नमो नमः ॥
गणपति बाप्पा मोरया ॥
मंगल मूर्ति मोरया ॥
