लैपटॉप को इंग्लिश में क्या कहते हैं Laptop Ko English Me Kya Kahate Hain

लैपटॉप को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में लैपटॉप Laptop कहते हैं. लैपटॉप हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है।

लैपटॉप से आशय एक छोटे पर्सनल कंप्यूटर से है जिसे केरी करना/यहाँ से वहां ले जाना सुगम होता है। यह डेस्कटॉप की भाँती ही पावरफुल होता है। कंप्यूटर को हिंदी में संगणक कहते हैं। लैप से आशय गोद से है और टॉप से आशय ऊपर से है। यानी की जिस कंप्यूटर को गोदी में रखकर चलाया जा सके लैपटॉप कहलाता है। वर्तमान में प्रमुख लैपटॉप उत्पादक हैं - एसर (Acer), एप्पल (Apple) - मैकबुक, मैकबुक एयर, मैकबुक प्रो, एच सी एल (HCL) - लीपटॉप, कॉम्पॅक (Compaq) - प्रेसारियो, तोशिबा (Toshiba), डेल (Dell) - लेटीत्युड, प्रीसीशन, एक्स पी एस लेनोवो (Lenovo) - थिंकपैड, ह्यूलेट-पॅकर्ड (Hewlett-Packard) - पैवेलियन, सैमसंग (Samsung), सोनी (Sony) - वायो आदि हैं। लैपटॉप का कोई फुल फॉर्म नहीं है।

लैपटॉप एक ऐसा छोटा आल इन वन कंप्यूटर होता है जिसे आप अपनी गोद (lap) में रख कर उपयोग कर उपयोग में लेते हैं। कंप्यूटर के मुकाबले में लैपटॉप पोर्टेबल और छोटा डिवाइस होता इस लिए इसे पोर्टेबल कंप्यूटर भी कहते हैं। लैपटॉप में स्क्रीम/मॉनिटर, कीबोर्ड और स्पीकर इनबिल्ट होते हैं।

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines laptop as “a portable computer that can be carried and utilized in different locations, it has its own monitor and keyboard and is charged by rechargeable batteries.” As distinct from desktop computers, laptops are compact and lightweight and can be used in any location. They usually accommodate multiple interfaces for additional peripherals’ connection such as USB, printers, and other display devices. Laptops are versatile, portable, and can be used for computing activities like, writing, browsing the web, video calling, game and even video editing among others.
