करारविन्देन पदार्विन्दं,
मुखार्विन्दे विनिवेशयन्तम्
वटस्य पत्रस्य पुटे शयानं,
बालं मुकुन्दं मनसा स्मरामि,
बालं मुकुन्दं मनसा स्मरामि।
Translation: With the lotus-like hand, with the lotus-like face, with the lotus-like eyes, I meditate on the child Mukunda, who is lying on a banyan leaf, and I remember the child Mukunda in my mind.

श्री कृष्ण गोविन्द हरे मुरारे,
हे नाथ नारायण वासुदेव,
जिव्हे पिबस्वा मृतमेव तादेवः,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति।
Translation: O Krishna! O Govinda! O Hari! O Murari! O Lord! O Narayana! O Vasudeva! Drink the nectar from my tongue, for you are known as Govinda, Damodara, and Madhava.

विक्रेतुकामाकिलगोपकन्या,
मुरारिपादार्पितचित्तवृत्ति:,
दध्यादिकं मोहवशादवोचद्,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति।
Translation: The gopis, desiring to sell everything, including their minds, at the feet of Murari (Krishna), spoke these words due to their intense love, saying, "Govinda, Damodara, and Madhava."

Translation: All the gopis, at every house, coming together, attain the auspicious opportunity of chanting the holy names of Govinda, Damodara, and Madhava, and they do so constantly.

सुखं शयाना निलये - May you find bliss in resting and abiding,

निजेऽपि नामानि - your own names as well,
विष्णोः प्रवदन्तिमर्त्याः - mortal beings declare the names of Vishnu,
ते निश्चितं तन्मयतमां व्रजन्ति - and by uttering those names, they attain the highest state of absorption,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति - Govinda, Damodara, Madhava,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति - Govinda, Damodara, Madhava.
जिह्‍वे सदैवं भज सुन्दराणि - O tongue, always worship the beautiful names,
नामानि कृष्णस्य मनोहराणि - the enchanting names of Krishna,
समस्त भक्तार्ति विनाशनानि - which destroy all sufferings of the devotees,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति - Govinda, Damodara, Madhava,
गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति - Govinda, Damodara, Madhava.
सुखावसाने इदमेव सारं - At the end of happiness, this alone is the essence,
दुःखावसाने इदमेव ज्ञेयम् - at the end of sorrow, this alone is to be known,
देहावसाने इदमेव जाप्यं - and at the end of the body, this alone is worthy of being chanted,

गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति - Govinda, Damodara, Madhava,
सुखावसाने इदमेव सारं - At the end of happiness, this alone is essential.
दुःखावसाने इदमेव ज्ञेयम् - At the end of suffering, this alone should be known.
देहावसाने इदमेव जाप्यं - At the end of the body, this alone is worthy of chanting.
