पेठा से मुरब्बा और एक मिठाई बनाई जाती है जो उत्तर भारत में विशेष रूप से प्रचलित है। इसे पेठा/कद्दू से बनाया जाता है। इसे आगरा में बहुतयायत से बनाये जाने के कारण इसका नाम आगरा का पेठा पड़ा है। पेठे के सेवन से पाचन तंत्र मजबूत होता है और रोगों से लड़ने की शक्ति का विकास होता है।
