कीवी को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में kiwi कहते हैं. कीवी हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है।

कीवी का वैज्ञानिक नाम एक्टीनीडिया डेलीसिओसा है। कीवी चीकू की भाँती एक गोल और भूरे रंग का रोयेंदार फल होता है। यह फल अंदर से हरा होता है। 

 

कीवी अत्यंत पौष्टिक फल होता है जिसमें सी, विटामिन इ, विटामिन के और प्रचुर मात्रा में पोटैशियम, फोलेट आदि पोषक तत्व होते हैं। कीवी स्वादिष्ट होने के साथ ही  विटामिन ई, पोटेशियम पॉलिटेक्निक, कॉपर, सोडियम आदि पोषक तत्वों वालों होता है। नींद के लिएवजन घटाने के लिए रक्त चाप कम करने के लिएप्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिएआंखो के लिएमधुमेह के रोगियों के लिए कीवी लाभकारी होता है। कीवी का वानस्पतिक नाम एक्टिनीडिया डेलिसियोसा/Actinidia deliciosa है । 

 

Kiwi is a small oval shaped fruit which has a brown hair like exterior skin and a green or yellowish flesh containing small black seeds. It has a citrus like taste which can be either sweet or sour due to the presence of citric acid and it also has a tender succulent structure. Kiwi contains vitamin C and K, dietary fibre and antioxidants which makes kiwi important in supporting immune systems and digestion amongst other benefits. It is mainly eaten raw either as a fruit, or in salads, milk shakes or in desert or used as a decorator. This fruit has a bright red color and is also known to have a good feel to the taste buds in the tongue and mouth.
