माल्टा को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में Malta Fruit कहते हैं. माल्टा हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है। 

माल्टा एक फल का नाम है। माल्टा फल का वानस्पतिक नाम Citrus sinesis है। माल्टा का वनस्पतिक नाम अन्नोना स्क्वैमोसा होता है। यह एक खट्टा और मीठा फल होता है। माल्टा नींबू प्रजाति का खुशबूदार एंटी ऑक्सीडेंट से परिपूर्ण होते हैं। इसे पहाड़ी फल भी कहते हैं। विटामिन सी, कार्बोहाइड्रेट, प्रोटीन, आयरन, फाइबर, फॉस्फोरस, पोटेशियम और मैग्नीशियम आदि पोष्टक तत्व माल्टा में होते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रोटीन, कार्बोहाइड्रेट, कैल्शियम, विटामिन सी और विटामिन ए आदि पोषक तत्व भी होते हैं। माल्टा फल नीम्बू की प्रजाति का ही एक फल होता है।

पहाड़ की संस्कृत में माल्टा का एक विशेष महत्त्व होता है। भारत में उत्तराखंड में यह फल विशेष रूप से महत्त्व रखता है। सर्दियों में माल्टा का रस बहुत अधिक लाभकारी होता है। 

 

Malta fruit might also be Citrus sinensis or more specifically sweet orange is one of the common citrus fruits that grows in the Mediterranean countries especially in Malta and some parts in India. This is close to the familiar orange but people may pay to get this one since it contains that specific taste which is a combination of sweet and a little sour.
