Meaning in Hindi : इस दोहे मे कबीर साहेब ने गुरु की महिमा का गुणगान किया है। गुरु के सानिध्य के बगैर कोई भी संसार के सागर को पार नहीं कर सकता। वे माया के भ्रम में ही उलझ कर रह जाते हैं "अगर दोनों, गुरु और भगवान (गोविंद) प्रकट हो गए हैं तो किसके पैरों का वंदन किया जाय"
इस पर कबीर साहेब की वाणी है की सर्वप्रथम गुरु की चरण वंदना की जानी चाहिए, जिन्होंने भक्त पर कृपा करके गोविन्द से मिलवा दिया है।

Kabir acknowledges the importance of both the Guru and the God (Govind), but gives priority to the Guru (Spiritual Master).
