अगस्त का फूल को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में Sesbania grandiflora सेस्बानिया ग्रैन्डीफ़्लोरा कहते हैं. अगस्त का फूल हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है।

The shoots and flowers of sesbania grandiflora are called sweeps, and it is consumed in many dishes especially among the southeast Asians and some African countries. The tender young pods can be cooked and used in any form of preparation with edible vegetable oil for example, curries, soups, and stir fried. It contains also flowers which are edible and are normally used in salads or as a decoration.
