पानी पालक को अंग्रेजी (इंग्लिश) में Water Spinach कहते हैं. पानी पालक हिंदी भाषा का शब्द है जिससे सबंधित अन्य जानकारी और अर्थ निचे दिया गया है।

पानी पालक तालाब में उगाई जाती है जिसका उपयोग सब्जी बनाने में किया जाता है। पानी पालक (इपोमिया एक्वाटिका) को खेतों और गमलों भी पैदा किया जाता है। वैसे यह जलभराव इलाकों में अच्छी तरह से उगता है। पानी पालक के पत्तों में केरोटिन अधिकता से पाया जाता है। पानी पालक में आयरन भी पाया जाता है।

Water spinach, or Ipomoea aquatica, or kangkong is a vine, a perennial, hydrophytic plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. It has elongated and delicate stipe and large submersed or emergent green leaf blades suitable for water or flooded environment. Water spinach has a mucilaginous pulp with a slightly earthy taste which comes from the Amp dziemian but is crisp when eaten raw and most preferred when stir fried or incorporated in soups or salads. They contain vitamins A & C, iron and fiber; this has made it to serve as an essential food that can help in digestion, and provide some nutrients to the body.
