The shatavari roots should be ground into a fine powdery form using a mortor and pestle or any kind of grinder which is available in the kitchen. If the recipe requires the use of food processor then grind the shatavari roots to a fine powder.
Sieve the shatavari powder so as to remove any lumps, coarse particles or any other unwanted material from it.
I suggest you store the shatavari churna in a cool dry place in an airtight container.
How to take shatavari churna Shatavari churna should be taken in a teaspoon with warm water or warm milk once or twice a day or as per your health care provider advice. It can be also used as a nutritional supplement added to various types of smoothies, juices or other beverages.
